We had to find a dog friendly place. It definitely worked out for us. Lots of shopping but we spend our time in the smoky mts.

100% trash of a hotel abd service. To start this nightmare off, we needed to move our date one day sooner for arrival due to things changing at our destination that needed us sooner. Red roof gave us the run around for 3 days saying that we needed to contact booking, which then they said I needed to contact the hotel which at that point they finally said they couldn't change it. Booking called and managed to get them to talk with their GM to finally allow it. The hotel had plenty of room open for the change and rhe price was... read more

** DON'T STAY HERE ** This red roof inn is very OLD and HUGE - hundreds of rooms. Decor of room - abysmal. Grungy, dirty feeling. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge like to JACK UP THEIR RATES throughout the year based on 'BUSY' - this place cost me over $100 for a night - my lady actually CRIED because she was so UNHAPPY about the place - want any more evidence than that? ** DON'T STAY HERE ** red roof is officially on the blacklist.

Tl;dr - One star for seeming room cleanliness, one star for free breakfast the restaurant next door. This wasn't our first choice for hotels but everything else was sold out, unavailable for a single night stay, or twice as much money. When I booked our room, a two room "suite" for $260 for one night, I didn't know there was a car event in town. The floor is very dirty. You have to go to ftomy desk for clean towels. No room service
