They are actively renovating, and it really needs it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. People doing questionable business, and not sure if they were staying or living there. Made me nervous, but they left me alone. Paint peeling off the ceiling and visible water stains. Barhroom door was severely warped and cracked. The room was cleaned as well as it can be and the bathtub was very clean and relaxing. I think once they finish renovations and clear some folks out this will be a lovely place to stay. My experience was absolutely awful. I was told I would get a refund and didn't. After 20 minutes in the room I started to feel sick and got a migraine. The sheets were stained and had holes. The rooms looked so much nicer online. The tub was filthy had hair in it and the drain was clogged with gunk. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. If you are looking for a place to stay while your Monroe..or just passing through.. Red Roof Inn Suites is a great place to stay.. the rooms are nice to stay in .. they are even Dog friendly.. it's a $100 deposit for having a pet.. but you will get your deposit back after your room is checked for any damages.. no damages..you get your deposit back when you check out.. we are going to be go back there to stay any time we need to book a room to stay in..
