The young lady working the desk Christy was amazing when we got there. She was very helpful in getting us a different room on the 1st floor. I was traveling with my father and son and my father was unable to climb stairs. The place doesn't have an elevator in it. Our original room was on the second floor. Christy got us a room change to the first floor. I needed a room with two beds the first floor didn't have a room with 2 beds. But we made it work. Ok. They are under construction redoing rooms, location is in a school zone.
I reserved an ADA room with a wheelchair roll in shower. They gave me a handicap ADA bathroom but it only had a shower TUB combo. No way to roll a wheelchair in. I know they have a room with the roll in shower because I stayed in it last year. Luckily we were only there for one night. Was escaping the hurricane.
