When I phoned this hotel DIRECTLY and did not use any third party services, Amanda was nice and polite and she assured me that she WOULD be there when we checked in the next day. When we arrived at 3 PM on Friday, the office was DARK and we had to check in with a video / kiosk / ATM device. VERY IMPERSONAL and we felt like we were checking in to a jail. Honestly I don’t see what’s all the bad reviews about I stay in Suffolk and just wanted to get away for a couple nights and my stay here has been amazing it’s very clean. Housekeeping is so sweet and make sure you have what you need for the amount you pay you get above and beyond I love it here.
My family and I occupied a total of 9 rooms for the July 24th weekend for a family get together. Our consensus view is that the hotel was sufficient for a place to sleep & shower, but the guest rooms are in real need of attention. The staff were responsive and polite. The front desk staff are on site during the day and are virtual at night, available by phone or on screen in the lobby. The hotel is very close to shopping and located in a business district.
