I stayed at the Red Roof Inn for about two weeks, but I ended up leaving after just four days. From the first impression, I was already unsure it honestly felt more like a motel than a hotel. As soon as I walked into the lobby, there was a strong smell of cigarettes, which was very off-putting. Long Island location. I just needed a soft bed and a shower and that’s what I got. The TV didn’t work which was a bummer. Other than that, the place is quiet and less than 10 mins from work.
