Not filthy but not clean. Went to check out and found a sign saying to leave keys in the room.
The Red Roof Inn in Freehold was magnificent. On the outside it looks like any road side motel. On the inside magic begins. I tried it for one night and decided to stay a week. Sha and his staff treated me with surpurb service. The room was immaculate with modern shower, cabel TV, big comfortable bed with a white comforter and white linens. The coffee maker was great and the staff made sure I had plenty of Java. Never been to a hotel where they knock on your door 30 mims prior to check out, and ask are u staying or leaving?!. And then just ask for a tep aka tip 💰 theres no nearby places to eat service isnt the best and makes u feel forced to give them a tip for doing there job
I've never been more disgusted with a hotel. The bed sheets had food crust and stains on them. Roaches were seen crawling across dresser, and in shower. The bed was so disgusting I went to Walmart and bought a tarp, sheets, and cheap pillows to sleep on, no way I was risking the likely bed bugs. The smoke detector was missing off the wall with the wires hanging out. Mold in corners, shower shelf ripped off wall , floor cracked. Great moderately priced motel Friendly staff and clean updated rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
