Waited sometime for service. Was able to get a first floor room, just down from the office. Parked car in front of room window. Room was neat, turned A/C on. I was issued a password for internet. But their was no plug in for charging batteries, phone etc. The table light and outlets were for 110vt only. Plugged my phone charger in and had to wait to charge The other items. Conveniently located off 95 with lots of gas and dining options. 1 pet stays free. Staff was friendly. Limited grass options to walk dog but not too terrible. Room was clean but out dated. Standard budget friendly accomodations.

I just had 2 bad experiences with 2 different places in Fredericksburg, VA in a month's time: Red Roof Inn SOUTH and Americas Best Family Value Inn. Greedy rip-off artists and nasty. At this point, i'd advise folks to stay in Stafford, or stay in Dumfries. The hotel people there are much nicer, and they dont rip you off. The hotel owners here dont like it when you use 3rd party platforms to save money, so they tag-on charges (I believe illegally) to get their money. HORRIBLE!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. When I arrived, I had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. The first room they gave me had a big stain in the middle of the bedspread, the bathroom was filthy, the tub looked like a construction worker had just taken a bath from the remains of huge ring all the way around. I requested another room, so when I walked in, I saw a dingy bedspread, dirty hand prints on the walls, especially by the light switches. The bathroom was dirty, and the shower... read more
