First, the good (because let's try to be positive in all situations). The hotel is located near the highway and near lots of restaurants. The hot and cold water worked, and I had a place to sleep when all the other hotels were booked. Otherwise, avoid if you can. Upon entry, the place smelled like feet. We stayed for four nights in a row. The outside looks a little rough. The hallway smells like smoke. But the rooms are pretty nice. We're a family of seven and got combined rooms on the second floor. If you're a bigger family or have younger children I would suggest getting a room on the first floor. Every little jump of excitement or 3 year old run or dropped toy we got a phone call about being too loud. 😣 We go to a lot of hotels and don't get phone calls so I'm assuming their floors are not very soundproof. I ONLY gave this location 2 stars for service and location because the lady at the desk was kind and it's minutes away from the ark encounter. This hotel is HORRIBLE. I wish I had taken pictures. The floor was sunken in. There were gaps between the walls and the floor. It literally looked like they didn't even try to finish painting or anything. The beds looked like someone slept in them and just made the bed themselves, checked out, and nobody touched them after that. I don't even want to get started on the bathroom. It sme... read more
