Asked for a queen bed none available although looking thru the windows into unoccupied rooms there were plenty. I also don't like the $50 charge that gets taken off in the morning, what's it for? And not pleased with the added $15 charge for the second animal. And we got charged more than their own website gave as the price. Will probably not stay there again.
I stayed here for one night during a road trip. The location was great, with easy access to I-40 and beautiful views on both sides of the property. The room had been recently renovated and looked much nicer than I expected. It still had that “just renovated” smell, but I guess that’s the price of being one of the early guests! The hotel was sold out when I arrived, and I even saw a few walk-in guests turned away. I’m glad I booked ahead.
Looked nice, but the bugs came out at and we had to leave. The roaches were bad in the room. Staff was apologetic about the situation.
Not family-friendly. The place is old, and there is a strong smell of smoke throughout.
