We have stayed here several times.WE also had to experience some poor service.The microwave dish broke and landed on the carpet, I called the front desk annd asked for a broom or sweeper to clean with and was told he could not or did not have a key to the housekeeping room.we have also thought that on another stay, kept calling to have our room serviced and did not receive it until 5PM. We over looked this and have tried to have a good attitude. On our last visit we know that the treatment we receive is on the prejudice side... read more

We went to the charlottesville area for the star hill brewery/winery tours for a boring weekend in January. When we checked into our first room the TV wouldnt come on no matter what we tried. When I called the front desk to correct the problem the very courteous lady asked if it was just the two of us staying (we had a 2 double bed room to start because it was cheaper) when I said yes she told me to come down and get a new key to another room. This hotel was very clean. The pool and hot tub were exceptionable. AC worked like a champ. 4 minutes from knotts berry farm. It is walkable if you have a little staminia. Staff was the best! Thanks Red Roof Inn. We will be back.

the first three days i was there i had to call and ask if the rm coud be clean because they never cleand the rm when we left and then the only day when they came without me calling they stoled my laptop .the cameras you think is onyour rm are pointed to the parking lot where they say there not reponsible for any thing in cars.they did a investigation by asking the lady ho cleaned my rm if she saw my laptop while cleaning which she said she did(i could of did my own inestigation and asked that) the manager manuel was a joke. ... read more
Could not have asked for better service: friendly staff, free shuttle to UVA hospital, large clean comfortable room. Located next to college campus and near very good restaurants.
This Red Roof Inn isnt very nice. The location is good (right by campus). The rooms werent very clean (comforter was dirty). It was also expensive, given the quality. I have stayed at many RRIs and this one wasnt nice.
I have never before reviewed any hotel ever. And I dont stay in nice hotels or have a sense of entitlement. I am telling you this place is terrible. First of all there is not reason why in this day and age I should pay 10 dollars a day for wireless just because a hotel is too cheap to offer it. That sort of corner cutting mentality pevades this place. The bed is from 1975. The shower has like one nonrusted hole in the shower head left spraying the water.
