Vulfpeck and Trey Band at Red Rocks on a beautiful Colorado day. Enough said.
I was 12 years old and in the 6th grade when visiting Red Rocks the 1st time with my family . This past Tuesday, 50 years later, I was there with 3 family members to see Tom Petty and Joe Walsh. Wow, what a rush ! What an incredible venue ! What a fabulous concert ... rain, lightening and rainbow included !!! Red Rocks Rocks !!
It's a awesome place, beautiful, good trails, lots of while life and cool amphitheater. Watch up for rattle snakes though.
Great concert, perfect location, and it's Colorado so strange rules. After walking a few miles to the top, they confiscated my pocket knives?! What the hell? Must have been afraid I was going to open a hay bale or something. It's not like they were $10 specials so I guess that's how the employees make a little extra at that place, I'm betting they are on the Ebay. Not at all impressed with that underhandedness. Overall good.
Saw Tom Petty for 5th time on May 30! Difference this time-saw him at Red Rocks! Wow, what an experience- what a venue. My expectations were very, very high for my first bucket list item! I was not disappointed. It was everything & more. Stunning scenery, unbelievable acoustics, great crowd, lightening show, rainbow, good seats, awesome Joe Walsh and of course my fav band-the one and only Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers! It was all a dream come true. Don't miss this venue, it's so worth the effort. A second trip back is now th... read more
Went to tom petty in 1985 it was the best show I had ever seen until tuesday! The venue and show were both amazing!
What a beautiful venue! What a climb! I got plenty of exercise going to my seat! Went to the Tom Petty/Joe Walsh concert and was blown away by the sound, they sure put on a show!!!! It was the best concert I've ever been to!!!! It was my "Bucket List" concert and was an experience I'll never forget! The Staff was very helpful and nice to us during the whole show also. My friend and I were two very happy Concert-goers!!! Thank you for a great experience!
Anyone that does't rate this place as 5 stars is nuts. Yes, the beer/drinks/food are overpriced, but the venue and staff more than make up for that. Great sound (if you're not too far away), great sight lines (again if you're close). For GA shows get there early with a cooler full of brews and enjoy some times with your friends and fellow music fans.
This is the ultimate concert venue. Beautiful setting, wonderful staff...Joe Walsh and Tom Petty were fabulous!!!! If you haven't been to Red Rocks this is definitely a bucket list place to experience !!
