I went to the mental hospital in Shawnee and just came back, and oh dear LORD the issues are just astounding. First off, I told them of my preferred name when I first arrived, and they put it in my profile. Alright, no issue. Except, I had to then tell every single staff member who saw me since what my preferred name was. They took down what I said before so I’ll put it back up again I went to red rock a few months ago before I seen a psychiatrist in Oklahoma City who I saw the first day red rock asked me personal questions about my trauma that I told them I did not want to talk about when I filled out the paperwork the other issue I had with them was they told me it would take me 2 or 3 weeks to see a psychiatrist I’ve never had this problem with any other out patient treatment place I’ve been to I always saw the psychiatrist the same day I ... read more
I Went there a few months ago and they asked me personal questions about my trauma that I didn’t want to talk about when I filled out the paperwork and the other issue I had with them is they told me I had to wait 2 weeks to see a psychiatrist I end up in a mental hospital from a suicide attempt before I got the chance to see them and get my medication and it could have been avoided if I got to see the psychiatrist sooner
This is a terrible place to get help. My wife never got help from her therapists we fired 2 of them and then they could never find another therapist. They then closed out her chart without any notifications. We discovered this upon calling them and asking if Lexipro is safe for pregnancy. They then said we would have to restart everything for her to continue with her antidepressants. This place is terrible DO NOT allow your family members to get service here. New patient and getting the run around. My daughter was referred here. So far we have had 3 appoints just for "intake" and now they are deciding if they will see her. Pretty ridiculous. We have a 4th appointment scheduled that says "med clinic" and I have no idea what that is for. For the times I have been there, there is no opportunity to speak privately with the staff.
