After months on the wait list my child saw a doctor and was prescribed meds and was receiving therapy services. My child saw the therapist 2 times and they deemed her mentally fit and not in need of services and dropped her. My child has received multiple diagnosis and acts out in ways that could hurt herself and others. My child has repeatedly self harmed and been inpatient multiple times this year and they said she doesn’t need services. Please do not waste your time with them if you or your child need services. This place gave my brother-in-law. This list of medication providers that he needs the invaga or how ever it's spelled and every single one of them say that they do not give that shot. Why are you giving out these numbers knowing that these people do not give out the shot. I am very frustrated. And I'm trying to take care of my brother-in-law. Terrible service. Ive seen people miss appointments because LIFE HAPPENS and they ignore calls and messages. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Do better.
I had difficulty initially because I assumed I would be prescribed medication right away. I had to wait 3 months for a provider visit, so, in the meantime, I explained to my PCP and was able to get a few safe medications while waiting. I got into a therapist who has helped me beyond measure and is extremely good at her job. All of the staff I have encountered have been polite, nonjudgmental, professional, and helpful to my mental health journey.
