I trailer over 9 hours from Ft. Davis several times a year to the Red River Horse Sale. The people there are very polite and I have purchased over 15 horses there.
Really like this horse sale! Good selection of used tack and always horses for everyone. The big arena in back is nice to watch people ride the horses before the sale.
I bought the first horse I've had in almost 40 years from RRHS this past weekend after much searching for the right horse for me. Jeffrey Oursbourn and every single one of the people who work there are personable, helpful, knowledgeable and do right for the sellers and buyers. Nice horses, livestock and tack for sale, and even a great little cafe. Five star rating for these folks from a very happy lady.
I've been there many times in the past. My daughter bought a heck of a horse there and I've seen some good ones go through.
