My family and I have been staying at the red ranch through 3 generations, at least for a week every 2years. We stated going in1970 when my daughter was a year old. Simple, but very clean rooms,daily house cleaning and the family who runs it are the most Helpful. 50 years later I will be back up there in a few weeks, with my granddaughter who is now 24, daughter of what once was my baby girl in 1970.so you see things never change, they only get better.
I travel to this region weekly and every stay at Red Ranch has been delightful! Very clean and updated rooms and furnishings, pool, nearby restaurants, easy access to highways and tourist sights. I highly recommend Red Ranch for your lodging needs.
I can't say enough for this place. We stayed here for a week and loved it. Rooms were simple but clean making it a great retreat that's only 10 mins from Saugerties Cairo or Catskill. If we ever get up that way again it will be our go to place.
We stay whenever we're here for a visit. Not fancy but clean, fresh towels every day, comfortable and close to everything.
Nice! Old, but friendly and comfortable and super clean. Great place to stay to hike in the area. The place has a nice pool and their is a good restaurant next door. I'm already planning to come back in the spring again to hike the beautiful trails in the area.
