The service is 10/10, I spent $200 on food per person for my birthday and didn’t know how this restaurant got Michelin 1 star.. the portion, the taste and the environment….the worst Michelin I’ve ever been.
One girl working the entire restaurant with a horrible attitude. When we walked in she just complained to us about the fact that she was alone and then balked when we asked for a corner table despite the entire restaurant being empty. We weren’t helped at all for 10 minutes so we left - no wonder it was empty!
The Michelin star restaurant with a fairly limited menu, when you book it, you are usually locked into a price fixed menu, however they do have some menu items that are not on the menu, but they don’t offer them by default. All the food was excellent and impressive because we went on a slow night Fourth of July, and they ran the whole operation with three people in the kitchen and one people, one person upfront. I tried the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to swap out certain dishes, which was a nice touch since our party wasn’t interested in the duck. My favorite dishes were the oysters, potato, salmon tartare, everything brioche, and spot prawn. Everything was incredibly flavorful while still feeling light and well-balanced.
