We eat here on a regular basis and love it!! The service is great - the staff is friendly and will explain the dishes and answer any questions you might have. The Nann is great!!! The spices can be customized according to your taste. I can think of nothing negative to say about any of our experiences with Zthe Red Onion.
great food nice place the place is the best place to go for indian food in town because there is only one in killeen. i used to go over there all the time but not anymore once i found out the local people get fired all the time . so i try to find out why it is so. i come to know that all the people working over there r illegal and they do whatever the management want him to do; all the chefs and waiters r undocumented people and they get paid cash and they dont even pay tax and the owner pay him as a cash show in there accou... read more
Me and my husband went there for lunch yesterday. And let me tell u don't go there! The bread was frozen and not fresh. And for the money there was not much food to choose from. I would have gotten more food at McDonalds!!!!!
Wonderful food! Great service! As a lover of east Indian food I am so happy the Red Onion has proven to be such a wonderful dining experience. The food is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is great. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.Try the goat curry. It is to die for.
Great food! We now go here regularly - you can get the food any spice level that you like - they are very nice and the food is the best Indian I have ever had. Recommended dishes: Vegetable Biryani Rice Rajmah Masala Chano Masala Mushroom Bahji Garlic Naan Jalapeno Naan You cannot go wrong with the above. Highly recommended.
The menu here is pretty pricey, so stick to the 12:00-2:30 lunch buffet Mon-Sat! You will love the atmosphere! The waiters are always atent, and bring what can be compared to an Indian tortilla, freshly baked, perfect for scooping up your entrees with, to your table. An Excellent place to eat The one bad review (Deborah Evans) is someone who sounds like they want to get back at the Red Onion, because they've posted this exact comment on multiple places on the net. Ignore it. We ate at the Red Onion the first day it opened and while it went through some growing pains, I can easily say that it has found its feet. This is a MUST stop! All four of us had a fantastic time at this Bistro. The service was top notch, the owner came by to talk with all the customers, the waiters were attentive yet gave breathing room, the best Indian food in Texas. The couple we dined with had never tried Indian cuisine and is ready to go back again.
