Best Chinese in the State I have traveled and ate in many Chinese and Asian cuisine restaurants in the state but none compare to the spine tingling tastes of Red Moon. My favorite dish is the Sesame Chicken, Mr. Kwan the owner is a pro and nobody makes it like him. I highly recommend Red Moon. So many other Chinese buffets have no originality with their dishes, its all the same rubber tasting crap that leaves you hungry an hour later. Go and get the sesame chicken you wont easily forget it!
Very tasty Cantonese food – I love the food here. It is well-prepared and tasty. Is the decor tacky? Yes. Do I think the buffet is perfectly maintained? Not always. But I love the food. The egg rolls are crisp and have a complex and very pleasing flavor. The BBQ pork fried rice is just delicious. The Chicken Cashew has lots of veggies and no unidentifiable gristly pieces of meat. Seriously sub-par – Please do not visit the Red Moon cafe. It was full of people when we went, and the single buffet counter was all out of food during the lunch hour. Oddly enough, this food was tasteless anyways, which is odd why it attracted so many people. Drinks are extra and so is ice creame/dessert. Best Chinese Buffet in Eden Prairie – There are a lot of Chinese buffets in the Eden Prairie city limits. None of them are great, but the best is Red Moon. They have the best selection of buffet items and keep everything fresh. No Chinese employees here though, from what I saw. I guess that doesn't make much of a difference. You will leave very full!

Bad Service I like to go to Red Moon because they are fast when I am in a hurry. I have gone there many times and they never seem to get my food right. I usually get carryouts and they always get it wrong. I ask them for fried tofu and I always get soft. They never get the spices right either. Then they expect me to give them a tip? I don't think so. They are not very friendly. My suggestion to you is that if you do a carryout? Open all the boxes to see if they got it right. Otherwise hello surprise dinner.
