They said their was a big parking lot. No true . They said their was breakfast provided! Not true. Building does not look like pictures. Half the cameras on the outside of the building dont work. Missing shower curtain and no towels in the room. Would not recommend this red lion. Its more like a motel 4
AMAZING OWNERS! Stay here if you want a home for the night or week🙂 Long story short. I was on my way out of town for my father‘s funeral. I ended up stranded with my son. We stayed at this motel hoping to uber or Lyft in the morning. No Uber/Lyft ride due to the area after waiting three hours with no success. Traveling nurses or fellow travel staff beware! While on Kentucky i was qouted 1450.00 a month by there owner, Mr.Ali. After a long day and a half drive the owner, Mr.Ali, said the room would be 2100.00 a month. I mentioned the price and he said "how about we make it an even 1500.00 a month." This was at 1230 am in the morning. I was just wanting a place to sleep by that time and said sure why not, I was too tired to fight over $50.00 but wasn't going to keep doing business with a person like that neither. Nice and quiet place, very friendly staff, very convenient location for travelers, especially - truck drivers. Fair place for the money you paid.
My father got a room here because he used to stay here 15+ years ago. I took one look at the reviews and they are 100 right. I could see a lot lizard while he was checking in. The smell was old and moldy. When i checked the room there was a BLOOD STAIN on the comforter. We left immediately and when my father asked for a refund was told no. DO NOT BOOK HERE
