Short staffed, not enough towels, broken bed, bad lighting, bath drains not working . Needs updating bad!
We stayed at Red Lion Hotel for 2 nights and had a disappointing experience. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for the swimming pool, but when we arrived, we found out that the pool was not heated. This should have been informed to guests beforehand instead of finding out after check-in. Kids were cold and shivering. Another issue was the lack of room service. The room was a bit run down but it is a very cheap hotel so you get what you pay for, the blanket was very thin I would maybe call it a sheet and there were holes in it which was a bit gross, the carpets were a bit dirty but other then that just out dated. The staff was nice enough when we checked in, breakfast was great lots of variety and pool was small but fine.
