George and Red Line Land Cruisers is the must place to go if you want to get your old school yota worked on especially a JDM import. They are awesome, highly recommend!
Justin, George and Rodney have been a super big help to me since I bought my 76 FJ40 back in January. I bought their 2.5" lift which has been a great upgrade to the way my rig rides. I also took their Kenda tire recommendation. They were also helpful in supply me with the parts needed when my exhaust manifold cracked. They sourced a good used replacement along with getting it ceramic coated and machined. I can't thank the guys enough for the time they have taken to answer my many questions.
Purchased a blue fan clutch for my 97 LX450; I mistakenly bought the diesel version and tried to install-did not fit b/c of my mistake. I called Red Line and spoke with Rodney, who immediately identified my mistake and put the correct gas version in the mail for me-even without receiving the diesel version back from me first. Part arrived and fits perfectly. Will always try and do business with these folks in the future--totally professional and honest. Thank you again!
Took my recently purchased 100 series land cruiser here to get a baseline inspection and understand the condition and what needs done with it. Red Line was extremely thorough, provided photos and diagnosed a few issues I was concerned with and some I didn't know about. Very knowledgeable shop, the hourly rate is a little on the high side, but you yet what you pay for and I'd highly recommend this shop for any land cruiser needs.
First off, I'd like to mention that I'm not a complainer, and this would mark the very first bad review I've ever written. Also, it's important to point out that this all took place over a year ago. I originally wasn't going to write a review, and just chalk it up to yet another loss in the the world of dishonest auto mechanics, but being as I have never been able to get the vehicle to start, and I just recently paid to have it towed to a different mechanic who also cannot coax it into starting, it's just been eating at me. ... read more
