On a Diners, Drive Ins and Dives trip, we had to try the Red Iguana. It did not disappoint! The special Chile Relleno - a huge green pepper stuffed with ground beef, raisins, pine nuts, and other goodies, fried to a perfect crisp, then topped with a heavenly walnut cream sauce... Yum! The tamales topped with a mole sauce were outstanding! Definitely going back with a bigger appetite! Friendly hosts and fun ambiance too!
If you ever can, this is the singularly best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. I've been to many and this is far and away the best. If I was wealthy, I'd fly to Salt Lake and have dinner and go home. It's that good.

The waitress suggested the special as it was special to them that day. It was great. If you go there listen to your waitress.
Highly recommended this restaurant. food, service, atmosphere all awesome. you will leave full, and wanting to make a return visit for some favorable, spicey, ooey goodness. our server did a wonderful job with friendliness, fast and welcoming service. we'll be back to try more of their yummy Mexican food.
