First of all I am a Pensacola local. This was by far one of the worst meals I've ever had. Your oyster shucker needs lessons on how to properly shuck an oyster to not leave the white hard piece attached to the oyster and to keep the grit out. I had the spicy fish tacos with blackened swordfish. The only thing I tasted was the tortilla which was hard and dry. I ordered a bushwacker which is a Pensacola staple and that way by far the worst I've ever had. It's safe to say that we will not be back.
Very reasonable priced, excellent food, and great enthusiasm from the staff. Outdoor seating was also a huge plus.
The food was awesome. That's why it got 2 stars. Had gator bites, oysters, kids had fish bites. Service was brutally slow. The staff allowed another table's kids to run around the dining room like it was a play ground. It took everything way longer than it should to happen at this restaurant. There were about 10 open tables and 7 servers standing around doing nothing when we left as I over heard the hostess tell a group it would be a 45 minute wait. The food was very good but not worth the time.
The hostess and food were very good. HOWEVER, the waiter/server #350 Rock was horrible and plainly rude. I rather have tips to the hostess who led us to the table and the cook who cooked our meals. If you go there, ask for different server, Server 350 Rock was not a good person, period.
We have eaten here several times while visiting our daughter in Pensacola. We have never been disappointed! We LOVE the atmosphere, view, food, and the service!
Had an amazing time tonight. Wait was only minutes. We had the best waiter Robbie. He checked on us constantly and kept us updated on status of dinner. The wait for our food was totally reasonable. The food was so good. I loved my whole experience and will definitely go back.
