The employees are inconsistent. One says to bring in ‘new with tags’ J Crew even though they are winter items. I bring it in the next day and they reject it. I bring in clothes and they tag some and say bring this back in the spring and we will take it then. So I store it until spring, take it in and they reject it. They are also too restrictive on when they accept consignments. Rather than have extra staff on the weekends they force you to bring it during hours most people are working. I brought some garments in to see if they might be able to take them. The nice gal told me they were wrinkly and needed ironing. She said if I did that, they could take them. I told her thank you and left. Later, I decided that I would go ahead and iron them and bring them back. A different sales girl told me they could not take them. My entire day was wasted on the word of the first employee. There aren’t any guidelines that are communicated, just the opinions of employees which can change at any moment.
