Do not ever buy a vehicle from R.E.D. Auto Sales 421 West 7th Street, Joplin Mo. I bought a 2006 VW Passat from them and a week later had to put $3300 of repairs into it and still not finished repair the car. Still have to have the transmission rebuilt and the axles replace. R.E.D. told me it is my problem now and they will not do anything about it. On top of that, I had to get a rental for a week so far as the car is in the repair shop. Awesome, and reliabel dealer – I bought a 1997, Acura Integra from RED, and it is a great car, I had an endine mount go bad and brought it back to them and they replaced it no questions asked, Ive driven the car from Joplin to Galveston and no problems. Will do business again, since he told me if I like anything else on the lot down the road he will give me the best trade in, in town.

Buy with caution, do your due diligence – We purchased a car here that we were told was the owner's wife's personal car for the past 4 years, so figured that the salesman knew all about it. Plus they gave us a 3000 mile, 3 month warranty on the engine and transmission, which they did not honor. Dealing through the Attorney General currently. If you buy from them, have the car thoroughly checked out by a mechanic you trust first. perfect customer service – After reading the other "review" on this business I had to share, I don't usually do this type of thing but felt I had to this time. I bought a car here, an older car mind you, so they are bound to have problems. I bought it "as is" as most people do. But this car lot and the people there have been wonderful. They change my oil, check my tires. Whatever I need them to do. When I have a problem, they are more than happy to help out. They are very helpful and trustworthy.

BUYER BEWARE – I only gave them one star because you HAD to rate them to publish the review. Their real rating should be 0. The used car lot, used car salesman stereotype fits this place perfectly. Do NOT buy a car here without getting a trusted mechanic to look it over first. And DO NOT let them inspect it or have any repairs done on it. Very POOR customer service. NO knowledge about their cars. All they want is your money, and your signature on the "As is" waiver.
