My dad gave me his old 22. It hadn't been cleaned in years and was misfiring. I called, he said to come on down even though he wasn't "open". I was told it would be about $20 -$30 to clean but no more than $30. (I had called Bob's Gun Shop and he told me, "...Around $50 for starters". ) He cleaned and fired it and he said it worked fine. Done in about 2 hours and charged me $20. (not taking credit cards at this time). Told me not to dry fire it and leave a cartridge in the chamber because of the pin. (common on old 22's).
