I love recovia. It was a mandatory requirement for me to receive a transplant. At first I was dreading it but I highly look for to it! I enjoy all the therapy for mental and emotional health. They great advice, tips and tricks. Physical Therapy has been great and accommodating for my special health conditions. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, kind, supportive and non judgmental it feels like a safe space to be yourself and share open and honestly.
I was recommended to this clinic because they claim to handle tough cases involving mental health, pain management, and drug recovery. And I have to say, the physical therapy specialist was genuinely amazing—he gave me hope and I was really looking forward to working with him. But after opening up and sharing everything, the doctor just gave me this fake smile and basically pulled the rug out from under me. Don’t listen to the negative reviews you see about Recovia. Recovia, just like anything in life; is all about what you put into it and how hard you work at improving yourself. I struggled pretty bad mentally before coming here. 1 on 1 sessions were the most beneficial to me but everyone might benefit different from something else here. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and personable. Everyone at Recovia is happy and seems to love their job, even the front desk gals and medical staff. My only complaint about Recovia, is that they are not nationwide! I am moving to the Sacramento California, and there isn't a business like them there. If you're thinking about going there, I can't say enough to encourage people to check it out. It's a great opportunity to better yourself, to learn, and to get help with physical pain. I can tell that I am physically stronger, and have more knowledge for having gone to Recovia in Mesa. Just be there and go at your own pace. There is no pressure.
