Get directionsI really don't have much to compare it to since this was first/last time in detox. I spent 8 days within Recovery Works, ALL the staff was wonderful and so very helpful. They gave me useful tools to help with any struggles or desires in the future. Food could be switched up for the residential patients but that is my only complaint. #SOBER36days
I had a nurse disclose to people that I was in detox . She knew who I was(I didn’t know her) then made sure I was miserable in there. I already spoke with a lawyer about this situation. Do not go there they do not protect your privacy
I loved this place. They do have roommates but they share a tv. Group is option for detox patients, but they do offer residential treatment. The menu for food is the same every week which sucked. But it was free. I met so many amazing people there. I left for sober living but wish they offered sober living and food stamps and job help. I would’ve stayed if so. Rocky is amazing and the nurses station is always available for help. This is a good place for detox.
witnessed a woman being kicked out for defending herself after an old lady attacked her, also witnessed fentanyl being snuck in multiple times. A worked even found a baggie on the grounded and was waving it around in the air in the dining room area, talk about being triggered. I got high multiple times while staying in this place. Go somewhere else if you want to recover. Was pretty much a drugcation / fight club.
I was attacked by a resident for watching tv with my girlfriend where he thought he deserved rights to a public tv to check his Facebook messages yet other people aren’t even allowed making calls home to their loved ones…. I was then followed by multiple staff members saying if I retreated to the same room as my girlfriend to retrieve my shoes I would be kicked out….
