I had the best experience here. I loved most of the staff! It had a very homey vibe. They treated me like I was family. Its hard to get sober as it is and the hospitality they showed me was impeccable. The nurses were very kind and took care of me better than the nurses in the hospitals ever did. Very nurturing. I cant say the same for the after care though...it wasn't horrible, but my experience just wasn't great. I could care less about the staff there as well. It’s been a few years since I voluntarily traveled from a different state to this facility. I had never needed mental health services before but had recently started to struggle with symptoms and finding a medication to help. I somehow came across a woman named Felicia who worked for recovery ways who convinced me that recovery ways was what I needed. Consistently accused of tampering with UA samples until I was finally discharged, nurses here obviously don’t know what they are doing. Horrible experience. Can’t wait to start/complete probation, because real professionals wouldn’t be consistently making these simple amateur like mistakes in terms of testing UA samples. Majority of the staff here is genuinely a joke. In IOP at least.
Florenda and the entire recovery ways staff are amazing…. Helped me tremendously in my recovery… 5 out of 5 isn’t enough 10 out of 10 is more appropriate
