I have my family here in buncombe County. My sister, mother, granny and aunts and uncles. They were done with me when i got dropped off at the office. I got them back in my life and our relationships are stronger than ever. They know how not to enable me if i was to relapse. They encourage me. I have a job with money in the bank. I will forever be grateful for recovery ventures. This program taught me things that I would never have learned anywhere else. It is not for the weak and weary, it is for the addict that truly wants to change themselves and their life. The bonds formed, the true introspection into oneself, and the hard work was exactly what I and so many others needed. The staff, Ms. Angie Walls, Ms. McRae, and Ms. Givens are amazing women who inspire hope everyday. Thank you Recovery Ventures for showing me exactly what I am capable of.
