History Established in 1986. Record-A-Hit was established by Robert Broms when Karaoke was becoming popular in the mid 80's. RAH was frequently hired to do Karaoke and record each performance, hence the name, Record-A-Hit. What originated as a small karaoke company on the North Side of Chicago soon grew to include moonwalks and other unique attractions.
