Melinda Brett is completely unethical in her interventions with clients. She uses her personal opinions in treatment with a harsh bias that she pertains to call “tough love”. Instead of using de-escalation techniques/interventions for anxious clients she goes on to dictate what her views are and specifically told me that I was not going to “dictate my own therapy”. Reviewing the Code of Ethics and Professional standards for counselors would be highly recommended for her to do. Either what she was trying to do was a hack job ... read more

My husband and myself were both treated terribly from the beginning, like it was an inconvenience that we wanted help. Not only from the therapist but 110% from the front desk lady. She is so mean and looks at you like she wants to rip your face off. If you call there to ask any questions, she just sits in silence. If you have an evening appointment, your sessions are 35 to 40 minutes instead of the hour and they are starting their cars before your appt is over. DO NOT GO THERE!
