Shawnee KS location. Started renting here when it was Best Life Storage. Back then it was great. Sold to Rec Nation a few years back, today it’s a junk yard. Rates were increased through email which violated the contract that was in place at the time. They are running an insurance scam where if you forget to give them your insurance information every time it renews they charge your credit card an extra $15-$20 dollars on top of your rental agreement. We have stored our motorhome at RecNation for approximately three years. Our first year here was a good experience, and at that time there seemed to be more on-site management and better upkeep of the property. At one point we moved our RV to a less expensive space closer to the field, but we quickly began having problems with mice getting into the motorhome.
