My son was on the wait list here , by the time they had an appointment available my sons authorization was going to expire 2/18/2026 and they had availability march 13th . Kathy the director/supervisor asked me to contact my sons doctor and ask for an extension I tried to explain to her if they can reach out to his office because their systems had been down for over a month and I don’t know how I could get the extension to her and if she calls maybe she will have a different out come . they do not work with parents schedules. they are disorganized and office administration lacks empathy
The worst most unorganized childrens therapy center.
Poor coordination of services with very little communication. Staff regularly late to sessions. Lots of cancellations without make-up sessions. When this is done to kids, it’s especially damaging because it impedes their progress and development. Why be in the business of pediatric therapy if you don’t actually care about children?
My son has been receiving speech therapy at Recess Therapy for over 2 ½ years, and while the speech therapist he sees is wonderful and has done great work with him, the company itself has become a huge disappointment since the new ownership took over. Communication with parents has been almost nonexistent, and it feels like the focus is more on money than on patient care.
