I love this place. It's like a yoga studio (you can keep your shoes there) but for weights, and they give students great guidance on how to lift safely.
Tried a group strength class here and my impression is that this is a fine gym for beginners and people trying to squeeze in some fitness into their life, not so much for people who already have more extensive experience and their own established routines. It felt like there was an assumption that everyone was starting from zero and there was a fear of being pushed. Terrific local gym. New equipment, extremely clean excellent staff. Especially Roman “Drago” - if you need a personal trainer - he’s your guy.
I’ve had a great experience training with Roman at Recess Fit Club. He helped me build a consistent workout routine that aligned with both my short and long-term goals, while also keeping me accountable with my eating and walking habits outside the gym.
