I have known Rick at Rebel Engine for 15 years. Since I was 8 years old, maybe 9. The point of it all is that, as his stepdaughter, you may think this review will be biased. Rick at Rebel Engine is an honest mechanic. And, it is obvious to me that he takes great pride in his workmanship and how he runs his business; he always stands behind his work. I have been a customer for 10 years, and have always been very happy with his work. He has been working on cars for 35 years. Most people think it's hard to find an honest mechanic. I don't think that's true. Rick is honest, but I really think it's hard to find COMPETENT mechanics! Rick knows what he's doing--that's what's exceptional. Despite the fact that he's really good at what he does, he doesn't gold-plate the price. In other words, he's reasonably priced. Also, I believe he does not recommend unnecessary repairs.
