Are the large bag of assorted cookies for pets? I ordered them through bite squad. They were flavorless and burnt.
RecommendedWonderful coffee flavored cake, fantastic coffee, and the tiramisu was amazing! I bought Gordon's birthday cake here, and he LOVED it! We give it 5 stars!

The Cake Shop was my ONLY bakery for 10years, even after new owners, for all birthdays, both HS & college graduations for our family of 9, for all work parties, and every holiday. Now that Rebecca's bought it, quality is down & prices up. Just bought another white wedding cake for hospital retirement party. All said it was dry and very crumbly. I purchased two mocha chocolate cakes for a business meeting and they were delicious. Outrageously delicious. The owner was prompt and kind and couldn't have been more accommodating. 5 stars!
If I want cake or Tiramisu this is where I go! Everything is not sugary, just the way I prefer it (will skip the rant about sickly sugary American-style baked goods). The wonderful whipped cream cake w/ fruit is very similar to those popular in Hong Kong and Japan. It's really the perfect light dessert, not overly heavy or rich. Rebecca is a gem, always cheery. I'm so glad this cafe is in the neighborhood!
I happened upon this bakery quite by accident, but I am a customer now for life. I ordered the Crema al Ciocolato for my daughter's birthday (her first day of classes as a new incoming freshman at Hamline) and the owner and his wife were very accommodating and went above and beyond! My daughter was so excited and said it was the most amazing cake she's ever had and is anxious to try all of their cakes now--I can't wait to visit this bakery with my daughter the next time I'm in town!
