Dr. Orfaly is a fabulous surgeon! I had a terrible triad of the elbow injury and nine weeks after surgery I had nearly 100% mobility. Over twenty years ago he fixed a shattered humerus when anybody else would have put in a prosthesis. It too healed remarkably well. He talks to you like you have a brain and his PA Amy is superb. I highly recommend him.

I went in to a get a consultation about getting PRP for my knee pain. I had I scheduled an office visit and sent in images. When he walked in he immediately said he might not have time to answer my questions but what was I after? It was obvious he had not read the questions or looked at the images so I started to explain and he cut me off by the second sentence. Stich broke inside eye and denied anything was wrong. Had to have another surgeon fix it
After being told that I had to be accepted by Orfaly and waited over six weeks for my appointment he did not appear to know the complexity of my injury. After failing to do a complete exam of my shoulder and ignoring what I was trying to explain to him, I relized he truly did not care about the complexity of my injury and I stopped answering his questions. He is very laid back, thorough, and compassionate. He was my Dr. for CAH for 15 years before my insurance changed. If it changes again, I hope to return.
I wasnt listened to with my complaint, he just dismisssed me and didnt even bother with a physical exam. Very little info provided to me, and I found a few disheartening things out on day of surgery. The Doc didnt even know I had radiation therapy in the past and had to call my friend up to ask if I had (while he was in the OR operating). Lots of poor communication with staff and not replying back to my messages. Amazing he is a great doctor. We will like to thank Dr. David Lee from OHSU fertility. He was just amazing what make him unique is that he is a great listener, caring, and a great communicator. He listens to your concerns and you feel that you become part of a team to achieve a common goal having a baby and form a family.
