Out of all the neurologists I’ve seen, Dr. Spain might be the worst. I don’t appreciate being treated like I’m drug seeking and that I need treatment for addiction when I only am prescribed ten pain pills a month. She doesn’t listen, she’s condescending, and acted as if I was lying about everything I told her. I have serious well-documented medial issues, and throwing blood pressure pills and telling me to go vegan isn’t the kind of thing I want to see a neurologist about, I’d see a naturopath doctor to hear pseudoscientific... read more
I was very happy with Dr Spain. She listens and does not " strong arm" you into a decision. She allows you to try other treatments and never is rude or condescending. She shows her patient respect and is a equal relationship.I have seen doctors that try to scare you into doing whatever they want or feel is the right thing for you, without letting you speak. She does not do this to her patients. I am sad that she is going to the VA and I have to find a new doctor.
