Becky started her journey into womens health care by becoming a Certified Direct Entry Midwife in Alaska in 2008. She loved her work but knew something was missing. She determined that she wanted to provide care to every woman who wanted to have midwifery care, in or out of the hospital. I sadly cannot recommend this midwife in good conscience after the delivery of my third baby almost 3 years ago. Please, if you want a natural birth, with minimal intervention, DO NOT GO THERE. I wish no one ever has to relive my birth experience and trauma, which still terrorizes me years later. My voice was lost and unheard, my power stripped from me, and all for no reason. I had the BEST experience delivering my first baby with them. I changed last minute at 31 weeks super stressed because my OB and I didn’t see eye to eye. I cannot say enough great things about the midwives. I will use them for every child I can.
I’m so disappointed at the care I got from the midwives at Houston Methodist Willowbrook. I enjoyed seeing Rebecca throughout my last pregnancy here but the delivery experience I had was awful. My water broke early in the AM and upon arrival at the hospital the entrance to the birthing center was locked. So we had to drive around to the ER. The ER transferred me to the childbirth center quickly but the intake took SO LONG. The nurse wasn’t sure my waterbroke despite it being my 3rd child and me knowing for certain and insist... read more
