I do not recommend Dr. Kosloff. I overlooked her lack of compassion and thought maybe oncologists have to be this way but I’ve since discovered that’s not true. I’m very easy to deal with and I tend to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Dr. Kosloff was not positive at all. No kindness or empathy and she gave me the worst news after being cancer free for a year that it had spread and was life ending. A biopsy later contradicted that but no apology or regret followed.

Everyone with whom I interacted were courteous and knowledgeable. My next appts were made, and my gastroenterologist was contacted and given their concerns.

Although I felt Dr. Kosloff had great credentials and provided very good care to me, our personalities did not mesh. Several times she said things to me in a way that did not seem very compassionate. The last time I saw her, when some small progression was indicated on a PET scan, she said "I told you this would happen. Most patients only get 2 years out of Ibrance, you had 4!"
