Definitely recommend Dr. Yarborough. She has taken good care of me for a few years now. Very patient and makes sure you have a full understanding of everything
This has been upsetting and impersonal experience as well. Life changing news announced like it was nothing, no compassion, no explanation, just straight to the point without even making sure we understood what was going on. No additional tests to get a clearer picture or diagnosis or explore other possibilities. If you’re looking for a doctor who takes the time to understand your case, explain things properly, and actually fight for answers with you this is not the place.
Offered some care but eventually pawned us off on a buddy that also works at Texas oncology when she was ready to call it quits. All fine I understand there are certain treatment specializations some MDs might be better at providing than others. What is unacceptable is the lack of basic human empathy the office and other Dr she referred us to expressed.
