About this business

The moment you enter the doors of the picturesque Reata restaurant in the city of Ft. Worth, you are sure to be greeted with one of the most serene ambience. The dining room contains souvenirs from the earlier venue that was destroyed in a tornado. Bite into some of the most delectable meals here, featuring Carne Asada and other Southwestern favorites. The lounge and bar are a great destination to hang over a drink or two and the rooftop patio is another highlight.

We had family in from Illinois. Wanted to take them somewhere with a Texas flair and good food. We were also on a schedule. We made reservations ahead of time for 13 folks. Reata treated us well. Great, fast service. Delicious, spot on food. And, they kept us (and them) on schedule. We even had time to enjoy some dessert and coffee. Two thumbs up, Reata. 👍🏻👍🏻

LOVED would be an understatement. The waitstaff are amazing. They helped make business dinner very much enjoyable.

I would say closer to a 5 than a 4. But if 5 absolute perfection then this is an accurate score. Atmosphere was very good. A bit crowded for a Monday night. The food was very good. Our party had an enjoyable evening. I'm sure we were the life of the party last night. Somewhat limited menu with some out of the ordinary items. We pretty much covered the menu from starters to desserts. Favorite appetizer was jalapeno elk sausage with cheese grits. Favorite entree was buffalo steak. Favorite dessert was cranberry pair cobbler we... read more

Just had lunch there to celebrate our 37th anniversary. Server Ashley did all she could trying to overcome a less than stellar meal. Soup was lukewarm. Shrimp appetizer room temp. Tenderloin entree was cold. Sent it back got another plate that looked like it was just thrown together to get it out of the kitchen. Still not hot. To our servers credit she had the manager take it off the bill and brought out three chocolate covered strawberries on an anniversary plate- which was a nice gesture- but it did not excuse the poor foo... read more

Business response:

Kim, please accept my sincerest apologies. Although we give our staff great latitude in making sure that guests are well taken care of if there is any issue during their dining experience, you are absolutely correct that a manager should have come by the table to apologize especially when there are multiple failures on our part. If you would please email your mailing address to ruki@reata.net, I would love to treat you to a future visit to prove that this isn't a typical Reata experience. I will also share your candid feedba... read more

Restaurant was AMAZING ... But the Valet we had greet us was a complete Jerk and even told my wife to "stop bitching at him about the wait since he couldn't do anything about" think his name was Monty but he was short and had a beard and was a chubby guy. Reata get rid of this guy before someone hurts him for his rude mouth and he hurts your business.

Business response:

Mr. Barnes, I am terribly regretful that you had a poor experience with the Sundance Square valet service. I will send this comment to them so that they may address this issue. Thank you for sharing this with us so that we may insure that our guests are being treated with respect while use the valet service downtown. Russell Kirkpatrick, General Manager, Reata Restaurant

Reata did not disappoint! We had a party of 24 for our Christmas party and the food and service were all top notch! We missed seeing Russell and Miss Jane at the hostess stand. Sadly, Sundance valet was very understaffed and guys were walking slow. The arrival took almost 30 minutes. To make matters worse, when I got home I noticed my car had been ticketed ($25) for being there too long?!

Business response:

Hey Bill thanks for the kind words! Can you send me you email address? I'll find out who you need to contact at Sundance Valet to rectify the ticket! KIMC@Reata.net

The food was ok, but the food was cold by the time I received it. Do not think I will be back, not quite what I expected!

Business response:

I am so sorry we missed the mark. Could you email me at KIMC@Reata.net?
