About this business

The moment you enter the doors of the picturesque Reata restaurant in the city of Ft. Worth, you are sure to be greeted with one of the most serene ambience. The dining room contains souvenirs from the earlier venue that was destroyed in a tornado. Bite into some of the most delectable meals here, featuring Carne Asada and other Southwestern favorites. Awesome to get back to this great restaurant yesterday. The first time we dined there it was in 1996 we looked out from the top of the Bank One building, the view and experiance did not disappoint. The location on Houston street with the open dome again lives up to a great dining experience. The Venison oso boco cooked to perfection with creamy grits, flash fried spinach, crispy, and melt in your mouth. Topped off with the best creme brûlée.

We chose to go to Reata for the first time Saturday night for my wife's birthday. Fantastic service and amazing food. The jalapeño and cheese elk sausage starter was delicious. The chicken fried steak was awesome. My wife loved the chef's special and the creme brûlée. I had the pecan pie which blew both of us away. All of the suggestions from our waitress were spot on. We will definitely be back.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your special day with us!! See you soon!!

This place was recommended to us by a trained chef who said it was the best restaurant in dfw. It was tasty food but it my husbands entree was tepid at best. The flavor was very good though. I would go back!

Let me start with I am a local grown FW resident. I have been going to Reata for years. In the past we had great food and great service and thought the restaurant was a nice spot in beautiful DT FW. However, we had a very different experience on Saturday night. When we sat for our 9pm reservation we were shocked to see a completely empty section and the rest of the place was sparse with guests. I will spare you every detail of our crappy dinner. Bottom line the food was brought out cold, 2 steaks overcooked, 1 steak undercoo... read more

Business response:

Thank you for providing us with such candid feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve. Our Executive Chef was able to address your concerns immediately on Saturday night after you brought the issue to our attention and our entire culinary team is well aware of how important it is to execute at the level in which our guests are accustomed to over the past twenty years. Thank you, and we hope to get the opportunity to serve you again.

Reata's customer service is just as good, if not better, than their outstanding food quality. This is a special place with a gorgeous rooftop overlooking Downtown Fort Worth.
