I was a tenant at a property recently, I kept the house clean and in order. We did need some paint but I hired my own painter apparently the job wasn’t good enough. My security deposit was $2200 but I got an email this morning stating that wasn’t enough to cover paint, garage door opener ($138) and to have the yard cut($150). And that I would have to pay $3,800.
