No follow up after the sale. They take your money and don't want to hear from you again. Poor follow up on warranty items! I think tre is a warranty law in South Carolina and plan on checking into it.
Not impressed with our process at all. Haven't received items from final walk thru, 3 months later. Response is not great and don't always respond. Don't believe when they tell you how long it takes to build or any specifics about HOA rules because if they told you the truth, you wouldn't build there. Remember, they are sales and will tell you anything to get you to build with them.
We followed the required procedure regarding a Warranty Request, and the representative from Realstar was unresponsive, unprofessional and nasty, In addition, thet didn't address and correct our Warrranty Request!
Fell in love with the location of Park Pointe in NMB (Little River mailing address), so had to take the builder that came with it. It has been seven months and still trying to get issues corrected. The subcontractors (some, not all) are the biggest problem. They leave a LOT to be desired. The on-site construction management (with the exception of the warranty manager, Mike, who has been great) blow you off more often than not. I can not say enough wonderful things about Realstar Homes. From the very beginning stages of the home building process to the very end everything was great. We first met with Heidi Black. She consulted with us and helped us pick out a home that met our needs and add any upgrades we wanted that fit our budget.
