It's all well and good until you consider the inflated numbers of child abuse and why children are taken from their homes. An entire industry exists around the welfare of children who don't need to be in a system that doesn't track its own harm to children. Until the court system offers due process protections to the families of these "poor abused children with unmet needs", it can't be said that all these kids have been abused and neglected. It just isn't the truth.
