RE: JENIFER P Jenifer please re-read what you just wrote. I believe it was YOUR buyer's agent that lied to you. Your terms were never agreed on verbally and than countered. Any realtor will read right through this. Maybe your agent told you those terms would be accepted-it was not our agents.

Two Thumbs Up! My agent was very friendly and worked very hard for me. We had a few hurdles to jump to get to the closing table, and he handled everything very well and made things go very smoothly.
Don't know what they are doing. When we bought our house, they were the company selling it. Not only could they not answer the questions we had about the property, but they lied. When settling on the contract their agent agreed to our terms on the phone and said he was faxing over the initialed contract. Upon receipt nothing initialed was per our terms, they were countered. Both agents made it easy for us to feel at ease with our first new home purchase. We found the entire staff easy to work with.
