Attended the Oktoberfest for the first time this year with my German fiance and I'm sad to say that we both were not impressed. $10 per person just to get in was strange....there's no admission fee for Oktoberfest in Germany. The prices for the food was also disappointing, and there just didn't seem to be much else. It was difficult viewing the stage/dancing floor since it's small and people were crowding around it. Did we miss something?
Great time good food great German beers !!!!! Even played some Polka !!!!! Great event worthwhile to try if you have never been !!!!!!!
What a crowd!! Parking was organized and well planned. Not sure if it was posted but patrons should be made aware they cannot use tickets for the following year and not refundable. Lines were long- maybe need more food stations. What a wonderful tribute to the German people. Entertainment was fabulous especially Kermit Ohlinger.
