One of the hardest things about moving to a new area is finding a hair stylist. Today, after 6 months of living in Suffolk, I finally decided to make an appointment. I walked into Reactions because I was nearby (and because the Google reviews were great) to make my appointment. The staff was super friendly. They had had several cancellations, so I was able to get a same day appointment (which was awesome!) My stylist was Chelsea and she did a phenomenal job with my perm. I love Chelsea! She's the best! It's a nice salon with friendly staff. My only complaint is I wish they had a better products.
While the staff was very friendly my hair is the worst color I've ever had , I was there for over 5 hours and I'm so disappointed with my hair , not only is it yellow/orange , but It's completely splotchy...
Thanks for ruining my wife's hair. She went in to get a perm 2 months ago, the person that did her hair over processed it and used the smallest rod available when she had asked for big curls. Now she's actually looking at shaving her hair.

Visited Reactions Hair Design Salon for the first time today. All the staff working were friendly and nice. My stylist was Susan. I came in wanting a lighter hair color than dark brown and was pleasantly surprised with the lighter results and her kindness. Susan not only colored my hair, but also trimmed and styled it too. I came in with "plain Jane hair" and walked out with my hair looking like something out of a magazine. I think my visit was worth the time, quality, and money. The atmosphere was also pleasant. I've used the same stylist for over 10 years (in Maryland). I loved her so much that when I lived in FL, I waited to get my hair cut when we went home for the holidays and such. My stylist of 10+ years moved to NC so I can't use her anymore. Being new to the area (Navy wife), I was worried about finding some place/ someone I trusted. I went to Reactions last night and Chelsea did my hair. She colored and cut it. I LOVE IT! She was amazing and wonderful! I will definitely be back!
